The newest member to "Team Innovative"
Jason began his IT career in 1996 as a Netware/Groupwise specialist in local government in Indianapolis. Discovering the wonderful world of "point and click", he quickly became entrenched in Windows NT where he authored and delivered a 5-day training course on Windows NT 3.51 and Exchange 5.5 for the New York State Dept. of Social Services. By late 1997, Jason had become a certified Microsoft and Citrix instructor with a strong focus on messaging and migration.
Moving into project management and network architectural design, Jason worked as a consultant to Microsoft until he was hired full-time by Microsoft Consulting Services. Working on worldwide messaging and directory designs, Jason provided expertise to companies such as Meijer, FedEx Kinko's, Marriott Vacation Clubs, Intl, OfficeMax as well as the United States Air Force. For the last three years at Microsoft, Jason was an Account Technology Specialist working with several enterprise-level accounts to help them understand how they can take advantage of Microsoft technology to help their businesses become more productive while reducing costs.
Dedicated to the cause, Jason won a Center of Excellence award from Microsoft for his work in developing a solution for issues related to Indiana’s adoption of Daylight Saving Time in 2006. This award is given once a quarter by Microsoft to someone who has gone above and beyond to provide customer and partner satisfaction.
In addition to his MCSE, Citrix, HP and Novell certifications, Jason holds an M.S. in Information and Communication Science and a B.A. in Telecommunications, both from Ball State University. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Michelle, son, Jaxon and dog, Fletcher.
